This policy explains what personal information Udyami Bharat collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to information you give us through our website, our Facebook and Instagram pages, lead forms on those platforms, WhatsApp, phone calls, and in person at our events, including Udyami Bharat EXPO 2026.
Who we are
Udyami Bharat is a not-for-profit entrepreneurship platform supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs across India, operated by FC Bizztech Private Limited. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, FC Bizztech Private Limited is the Data Fiduciary responsible for the information described below.
What we collect

We do not ask for and do not want financial account numbers, government identification numbers, or any sensitive personal information through our lead forms. Please do not send these to us over a form or a chat message.
Lead forms on Facebook and Instagram
When you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes the details you confirmed on that form to us. Meta may pre-fill parts of the form from your profile, and you can edit those fields before submitting. Meta’s own handling of your information is governed by Meta’s Privacy Policy, which is separate from ours. Once we receive your details, this policy applies to how we use them.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry, usually by phone or WhatsApp, normally within one to two working days
- To share details of stalls, pricing, availability and registration for Udyami Bharat EXPO 2026
- To send you occasional updates about Udyami Bharat events, programmes and opportunities for entrepreneurs
- To keep internal records of enquiries and bookings
- To meet legal or regulatory obligations where these apply
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade contact lists.
Your consent, and withdrawing it
We collect your information on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or share your details with our team. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us using the details below. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did with your information before you withdrew it, and we may keep a minimal record of your request so that we can honour it.
If you no longer want messages from us, tell us on any call or message, or write to the address below, and we will stop.
Who we share it with
We share your information only where it is necessary, and only with:
- Team members and authorised representatives of Udyami Bharat who handle your enquiry
- Service providers who operate our systems on our behalf, such as messaging, calling, email and customer record platforms, under obligations to protect your information
- Event partners, where you have asked us to connect you to a specific partner or programme
- Authorities or regulators, where we are required to do so by law
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a record of the enquiry, and generally no longer than three years after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law or you continue to engage with us. You can ask us to erase your details sooner.
How we protect it
We restrict access to your information to people who need it to do their work, use access-controlled systems to store it, and require our service providers to maintain reasonable security safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we have used it
- Correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date
- Erase your personal information where we no longer need it
- Stop sending you marketing or promotional messages
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity

Children
Our services are intended for adults running or planning a business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
